Make uTorrent run without gui, only launching web interface (ex: use as windows service or in a NAS)
Make uTorrent run without requiring a graphical environment.
This will be usefull if I want to set uTorrent as a Windows service.
Also intessing would be to use it in unix systems (a NAS for example, with or without wine)
We have a headless (no desktop GUI) uTorrent available for Linux. I’ve moved this suggestion to that project’s IdeaBank.

I would like to suggest choosing the mode for uTorrent ("desktop" or "server/nas").
If user chose Desktop mode, uTorrent runs as usual (GUI).
I the Server/NAS mode has been seleted, uTorrent core part runs as a service and GUI part can be run separately and/or from the Web-UI. It will make possible to use rich GUI from the local pc and use it from the network via Web-UI or uTorrent Web. -

I understand changing from gui to service isn't simple but the advantages would be huge. Almost to the point that no gui isntall is required; instead use webgui for local aswell - we can dread :)
