64bit version for better performance!
64bit version for better performance! Since Snow Leopard and future version of Mac OS X, being Lion, are 64bit, there's no reason for uTorrent to be still in 32bit! Please do something! Thank you in advance!

Add a statistics page like in the Windows version
The Windows version of uTorrent has a page showing statistics of amount downloaded, amount uploaded, no. of times uTorrent has been launched, etc.
Please add this feature to uTorrent Mac as well.

Combine "MAC save as prompt" and labels.
Combine "MAC save as prompt" and labels - torrent added = prompt for label which has predefined destination folder. Ex. choose label "Movie" and uTorrent will save it to pre-chosen destination for "Movies". This should only be an option, not forced.

Implement the ideas of BitTyrant
An average increase in download speed by 70% has been demonstrated over a standard BitTorrent client.
It works by sharing more with powerful peers.
If most clients used the BitTyrant strategy, people who don't BitThief and seed, will get much better download speed.65 votes -

"Best guess for the save directory" feature
"use best guess when choosing default save directory" feature like Vuze! When the torrent starts downloading a window pops up with the files to be downloaded, the priority, and depending on the name of the torrent the default save directory for this particular torrent. It is very useful for someone downloading TV shows to have them well organized in different folders right from the start of the download.

MAC Better support for files downloaded in other torrent programs
I recently started to download a file in Transmission that was roughly 30 gigs. I decided to switch over to uTorrent, as the speeds seemed to be better. However, when I check the data, it does not seem to recognize it, and I had to start my download over again. This is not the case for all torrents it seems, just certain ones.

We need specific interface binding for VPN-iPredator (and other) users
This is essential for me because I must connect via VPN to hide my IP. But once connected, if ever the VPN connection fails I must be sure that my BT client remains bound to the VPN interface so that I'm not inadvertently exposed on the 'open' internet. This configuration option exists only in the Vuze/Azureus client (even if it is really geeky!) but Vuze is a bloated reasource hog. If uTorrent had this feature I'd switch to it straight away!

Edit Torrent Captions
Just like the windows version, you can change the caption for the torrents (aka the name that shows up in utorrent). I would love to be able to edit these on the mac version too to keep things organized the way i need them

Rename torrent title within uTorrent
The ability to rename the torrent title shown within uTorrent has been available for years in the PC version. After making the switch to Mac and finding out you can't do this I find it shocking. I like to be able give them a naming scheme rather than just put up with whatever the creator named the torrent (which is often named poorly).
PLEASE implement this into the Mac version too!
