uTP still has a lot of work to do before we can even consider uTP only as a default.
Plus, a lot of router manufacturers need to get off their asses and de-junk their hardware.

You should make a supported / shame list of hardware manufacturers that makes good (what to buy) / bad hardware (what _not _to buy)

I think that like shareaza has the "three check boxes" for the three diffrent networks to connect to on startup we should have the same. one for tcp, one for utp, and maybe one for beta implementations

Ok. But may be for first step - add options
"uTP + TCP" (default)
"uTP only" (for hi-quality connections)
"TCP only" (for old junk hardware & software)
- because change bt.transp_disposition from 31 to 26 - very special and very hard for users and for advanced users too. -

Please make bt.transp_disposition 26 (11010) - uTP ONLY - because uTP http://www.utorrent.com/documentation/utp - VERY GOOD and VERY FASTER - and AUTOMATIC change torrent speed - for usefull browse & uTorrent runing in one-time. It's very important for low-speed internet connection.
P.S. Yes, its compatible only with new version uTorrent - but i think, in any case, its ok for default.+ make Options - Preferences - General
