  I would want to add comments for myself, not for sharing to others. Because sometimes it has some special notes like 'install software in following conditions' or 'this software or movie is about ....'.

  How about linking CommentsApp with facebook(some faceApp)? Let users comment torrents thru facebook. In that way comments for torrents will be universal and any torrent client and torrent site could use it. In that case you can directly integrate CommentsApp into uTorrent.

  I love this idea. I actually just got on here to register and post this, but someone beat me to it.

  I couldn't find any issues with this besides spamming, but i think every torrent should have a comment to see if its legitimate or someone trying to spam and infect users.

  how it works?
  When a torrent is added to uTorrent, it creates a database entry with an ID to randomly generated number to separate duplicate named torrents. Sort of like a uTorrent-Twitter? Just a way to let people know whether the download it legitimate, corrupt, incomplete parts, etc...

  as for where the information can be stored would be a problem, whether it be on a utorrent server, dunno. since a lot of piracy takes place on torrent programs, might be difficult explaining to the film/music industry you wasnt support the promotion of their newest hits.

  Yeah, I'd love this feature too. I wish I could do this sometimes, just add a little note that says something about the quality of the file, that you'll be seeding for awhile and if you're not, you're doing something else with your internet but you'll be back on eventually so not to worry. Maybe post a link to where people can discuss the file so you can bring everyone to one place. I'd also love to add a little note when I first make a torrent that says "Hey, I've got a 1 mb upload speed, but utorrent is policing my usage of it so you'll only get max speed of 200 kbs, so don't skin me if it takes forever.
