Auto Shutdown option in Scheduler

Can you make the auto shutdown options part of the scheduler. Currently if I want to use the scheduler and shutdown afterwards I have to wait for the downloads to start before choosing the shutdown option. If I want to use off peak time that means I gotta stay up fairly late.

I would like to be able to enable the scheduler at 9pm to start downloads at midnight and auto shutdown when downloads are complete.

This would be such an easy thing to implement that I am surprised the uTorrent team haven't implemented it yet. just add a drop-down list on the scheduler and hook it to the code that is in the "Auto shutdown" menu. It would be such a handy feature to have.

Set "Shutdown when Downloads Complete" to true using command line on windows. How can i do it?

        Great idea.

Shutdown in accordance with scheduler would be excellent. I too have to be careful when I'm using uTorrent so as to avoid upsetting my ISP. I usually seed between 11pm and 1pm. I'm usually at work so can't turn it off myself.
Those naysayers below obviously aren't very GREEN if they think leaving ones computer left on whilst it's doing nothing is OK!

There are lots of tiny proramm that can do that.
For example free small programm AMPLite.

This is not a uTorrent specific Feature.
In windows, you can do it by entering the following command in Command Prompt or Run

shutdown -s -t [TIME IN SECONDS]

        eg:
        shutdown -s -t 3600
        to shut down in 1hour

Anyway there are many freeware GUIs hat does the same thing by this or scheduling.

Why can't you leave the computer on?? PCs don't need to be shut down very often, and I even run my laptop for LONG periods of time.

Letting it run overnight won't hurt it, even a little bit. And, you'll get your downloads a lot faster.

This would be great (with the option to set shutdown/standby).

Along the same lines, it would be nice to also have an auto wake up (using a timer with wakeup flag set, these wake up my laptop where as a windows scheduled task set to wake up doesnt), This way i can leave it on standby when i go out and still dl/seed during times i can afford the quota, while saving power.

I would be able to use the scheduler standby to eliminate the need to use the standby on download complete, meaning more seed time.

I would say in addition to the wakeup the ability to set the power mode when woken up by the scheduler would be nice incase i forget to set it to low power mode before going afk, but i have my doubts this would be implemented.
