I suggest you ...

Create an Android version of uTorrent

Version of uTorrent that could be run on a Android phone, either to download directly from the phone or control a remote uTorrent on a computer.

It would be cool if we had an option to use Wi-fi only or 3g on the Android Client (which is excellent, btw)

The only good .torrent downloader on Android right now is aDownloader, but the interface & design are so horrible I hate using it. I'd pay $5 for a uTorrent app with the sleek and easy to use interface. The only problem with the remote uTorrent has to be.... you have to leave your damn PC on all day. This will help with our electricity bill big time. Please use the same idea with the mobile app as y'all used on the Windows version. Make a Free Version and a Plus Version. The Plus Version needs a HD Player integrated.

Why don't you people already have a mini utorrent example like opera mini something user friendly and light weight

WHO am I though? Lol just a regular user
The remote is cool too but......come on people are mobile these days

Instead of a remote access to Utorrent via Android. It would be a good idea if we could use utorrent to download using mobile with Android. Some thing like this galaxy phone and the 3g and 4g network or from wifi it would be a good speed to download files and videos. Not required to switch on the PC all the time. Waiting for such an app which is independent and can be used just with a Android phone or Android tabs, instead of the remote access.

remote control, not a full version . :/ Nice idea... (but only for latest versions Android. [4.0.0 ; 4.0.3])

This is the best BitTorrent client and I would love to do BitTorrenting away from my computer on my tablet! Can you make sure it is optimised well for tablets such as the Xoom and Galaxy Tab 10.1?!

Hell yea but tTorrent sucks in the fact that you can't choose single files. Right now I'm using aDownloader, but uTorrent has always been my buddy. That, and aDownloader is not fully utilizing the bandwidth of my 4G, and uTorrent has always been good about fast downloads. It's the program that I show everyone that I trust :']

So far Swarm is the best Android torrent client I've found, but I don't really like it. uTorrent would be an awesome thing to have ported. I can't wait!

Yes! I love it. Sure to be the best client for Android phones.

"We're working on a native client as well." is the more important part for me. ;)

ProDigit you don't have to be open source to make an app for android, or even to publish that app on their market.

IgnitionWeb porting an app to Linux and porting an app to Android are two veeeery different things. They may have a linux kernel under the hood but thats about it. I'm not saying it would be hard, im just saying its not as easy as "Port to linux and the android version is done too". Its more like, Port to linux now lets write the android version.

        Yep a great idea.

There's already torrent apps which download files to your phone. I'm using "t Torrent" which apparently is an implementation of libtorrent. It works well, but is a resource hog.

uTorrent would be most welcome on Android.

I think an Android based version of µTorrent would be an awesome idea. Granted it would take work to completely re-write the program but the idea behind the program would be the same. µTorrent is one of my favorite programs to use for p2p downloading and I have plenty of bandwidth to use with my android based device, not to mention µTorrent is a "smart" program to use this bandwidth for. I would love to see this idea become a possibility.

Remotly control is my interest, the Webui over https is a little to complicate, better implement the remote thing in a little app for a faster connect.

I'm not one of the devs, but I think it's safe to say that this isn't going to happen. The Android APIs are completely different to the Windows and Linux ones, and even it it were ported the UI would have to be redone. It would be as much work as writing a client from scratch. When you consider how much time it took them to get around to Mac & Linux ports and how many people use those, it's extremely unlikely that they'll do so.
Maemo/Meego phones are much more similar to desktop Linux, so they could probably use the Linux port with just a recompile (and for an interface there's already an app called uRemote).

I would love to see this... I have tried others and they don't work very well... Even the paid ones *cough*andtorrent*cough* ... Just a micro client would be awesome
