i'm happy with how the RRS downloader works, with the exception being it doesn't update feeds when a proxy is being used.
which means i have to choose between the convenience of having my TV shows automatically download for me, or the security of being behind a proxy.
it'd be nice to have the option to not use the proxy (if enabled) just for reading RSS feeds. -

Change the filter stuff to basic regex. Feeds, filters, downloads.
Further drop "episode filter" and that kind of stuff. It just reeks of piracy.
Or gimme a stand alone RSS filter program that just tosses the magnet links to uTorrent. And stop doing rss in uTorrent proper. Or an App that can pretty much take over that functionality.

Right now dates break the Episode filter, and the Name filter does not integrate with the Smart Episode Filter. The 1 day Interval does not prevent re-posts that come in days or even months later.
In short, there is no way to capture episodes which are dated rather than numbered, without getting repeats.
I have actually tried using the Episode filter on links with YYYY-MM-DD names, ie: 03×01-12×31
No episodes were found. I don’t understand this, as I would expect the Episode filter to be something like NN?NN|N?NN which would include 2012-NN-NN names. … Right?Seriously I’m confused and annoyed by that.

As comaxauto said, it would be nice to be able to assign ratios based off of feeds, or even on a per "download" filter option in the RSS interface. I currently have to run 2 instances to manage different seed ratios.

nice to have it auto-rename. I'd just like it to remove periods in the name & replace them with spaces and get rid of anything like HDTV Xvid, and other fluff people add.

also need a "dont download" in the rss feed list as sometimes it cant connect to the torrents and later on it finally connects and starts downloading old ones

+1 Bruno Pinheiro's suggestion of upload/download rate limit for each RSS filter.
Also, for each RSS filter, be able to set seeding ratio/time goals.

group my RSS feeds
also the ability to exclude filetypes eg. zip or rar
some sorting capability alphabetically and or manually drag ablean easier way to create feeds, if you could specify a base feed with "show name" and "quality" and other options the feed displays
eg. things in brackets are editable multiple times to create multiple feeds at once
http://www.ezrss.it/search/index.php?show_name=(showname)&date=(blank or date)&quality=(HDTV)&quality_exact=(true)&release_group=(group or blank)&mode=rss -

Features:
- Flag episode as previously downloaded
- Completion location per-feedAside from cosmetic work to the list sorting and location on completion on a per-feed basis, I only need to be able to flag an item as "previously downloaded" from the right-click menu.
Setting up the auto-downloader and having to set the "episode number" is annoying when I have to do it only to force it to not download old episodes I have already seen because utorrent has forgotten somehow.

Perhaps a feature to download file to the local drive then once completed and when a remote drive is connected transfer them over.
ex.) I download a series knowing full well it won't fit on my internal drive so I give uTorrent an end location on my External Hard Drive. A file complete, my external isn't connected so uTorrent waits. When my external is reattached uTorrent ask if I want to transfer the files now. I click yes and it transfers the completed files over.
This feature would actually be nice for all torrents but I'm out of votes for a while.

it would be great if there were an upload/download rate limit at rss

+1 for Regular Expressions

The management of RSS downloads drastically needs to be improved, autosorting the list (with the ability to tailor it to alphabetically or most recent downloaded), absolutely the ability to specify a filetype (or even exclude a filetype - ie Don't care as long as its not a Rar or WMA)

I agree with the Cpt below. When adding a feed and having it auto download. You don't get a chance to specify where you want it to download to before it starts doing it!!

Setting up RSS Downloads should only require 4 steps:
1. Add RSS Feed
2. Set Destination folder
3. Set Filters
4. Done / Start -

Agree this idea. I want ability to search after a RSS filter or sort them after added/name so I easy cant manage them.
