If a torrent is dying, than uTorrent will automatically start seeding for that torrent until the ratio reaches a specific level. Some people can't seed 24/7 because of bandwidth limits.

Azureus allows you to bind torrenting to a specific interface, good for those with multiple connections like those with a VPN. Binding to an IP is often not an option with ISP's giving dynamic IP's to standard accounts. A simple mechanism to select which NICs, virtual or real, torrenting can occur on would be very helpful.

Please, add Atom feeds support to the uTorrent.

It seems like a very nice extension to have if and when one uses a magnet link that doesn't include any good trackers.

Have labels that are "smart" labels, similar to smart folders in iTunes, where they include subsets of torrents that fall within filter specifications. i.e, torrents with size above 5 gigs, torrents that have less than 5 seeders, etc.

With over 1000 torrents in a list, it can be cumbersome to sort by name in order to find a torrent with a given title in the main window (or if the keyword in question is not at the beginning, often impossible).

The main window should include an explorer- or finder- style list keyword filter, or a firefox- style find bar, or at the very least a find dialog box.

Vote down ideas in the idea bank. Stupid/unreasonable ideas need to be retracted, and voting down would allow this. If admins thinks this would be abused, voters should specify a reason why is should be voted down.

Some trackers are always well seeded and require (and allow for) less upload. I usually lower the ratio goal for these manually while I raise it for other trackers that are less healthy. Having µTorrent automate this would be useful.
µTorrent could/should allow to this effect rule-adjustment by tracker url, label or possibly torrent health (seeder/leecher ratio).

This allows user to add Torrent by simply drag and drop a torrent link into uTorrent without have to copy and paste into "Add Torrent from URL" window.

Add support for multiple watch folders, with the ability to assign a label automatically to all torrents imported from that folder.
This feature would be particularly useful when the user chooses to use their own automated download systems in lieu of uTorrent's RSS feeds

I'm sick of manually resizing all the columns to be able to read what's written inside. Adding a persistent option enabled by default so when we right-click a column there's an option to enable or disable auto-resize could be a solution. Only the "name" column (either in files or torrents name) auto-resize option should be disabled by default.

Can you make the auto shutdown options part of the scheduler. Currently if I want to use the scheduler and shutdown afterwards I have to wait for the downloads to start before choosing the shutdown option. If I want to use off peak time that means I gotta stay up fairly late.

I would like to be able to enable the scheduler at 9pm to start downloads at midnight and auto shutdown when downloads are complete.

As the title says, it'd be neat if utorrent automatically placed specific (completed) torrent files into various locations that would be predefined by the user by file type. For all those multimedia fans out there who are neat freaks like me; I am sure after your file has completed downloading you re-move it from it's completed folder to another location on your machine. For organization purpose I like to move all media to its respected media are music,videos ....etc That'd be a cool feature to add as it can be a painstaking process to move the file around individually.

An ability to simply move/drag torrent over labels and drop it onto one of them to select the label for this torrent. Right now there is another way - right click on torrent and then label menu.

Allow users to specify which day of the month the available bandwidth for transfers should be reset. The current "last x days" is good however not ideal as I have exceeded my limit by a day :/
