simple stuff. All I want is a small progress bar when utorrent downloads an update.

Columns retain sorting preference
Columns should retain sorting preference across window/tab. For example, uT should remember that I prefer my "Completed" tab to be sorted by the "Completed On" column and that I prefer my "Downloading" column to be sorted by "ETA."

Integrate utorrent with a file renamer
Oftentimes, when I download files, I rename them. I think it was around v1.5 when uTorrent allowed users to relocate files so users could rename their files and still seed them. Even still, when I have a torrent with over a 100 files and I have to rename all of them to seed them, this can be very time consuming. Even if I use a file renamer after the fact, I still have to individually relocate each file in uTorrent to seed. If there was a file renaming feature integrated with uTorrent, it would save me a whole lot of…

Add change location for group of torrents. For example move grop from drive E to driver D.
After reinstall windows or movig files to bigger hdd or simply in another director. I have to do too much operations. This could be simplified by using torrents group change location.

allow the transfer cap be a Decimal
when i do calculations of how much i can download/upload amonth i come out with a decimal number. and i would like to download/upload 1.5GB in 1 day. this means i dont have to calculate everyday the Maximum/minimum speed i need over a certain time to get the limit.

Different colored logos for different versions of uTorrent
For the logo of the beta, there should be a distinct identifiable version of the logo than the stable, and that goes for the alpha as well. That would make uTorrent more identifiable for users.

expand the transfer cap to allow for onpeak/offpeak cap limits please
I keep getting shaped by my ISP because I reach transfer limit, and would really like the ability to set transfer caps for onpeak and offpeak times to prevent this happening, I either get shaped or I don't download enough in one period peak or off wasting quota - setting a transfer cap for both on and offpeak timeframes will solve the only problem I have with your fantastic app

Add Root element and * key functionality to Add New Torrent dialog
Just like the folders list in Windows Explorer, the Add New Torrent dialog needs a Root element (which could be the name of the torrent itself), *under* which the torrent's files/folders will be displayed. This will enable users to easily expand the entire torrent's contents in one go by pressing the * key, just like it works in Windows Explorer.
The Root element is required since if only the * key functionality is implemented, it will still require users to go to every top-level folder one by one to expand it, whereas with a Root element, *all* folders in the…

uTP still has a lot of work to do before we can even consider uTP only as a default.
Plus, a lot of router manufacturers need to get off their asses and de-junk their hardware.

I try to download torrent, where many files, but i need to download, for example, only *.jpg files, thats inside this torrent. It is very inconvenient, to check/uncheck files in big list.

Transfer Cap moving window
Transfer Cap should have the option to use the last 24 hours, last 48 hours and so on, and not just reset the upload/download count at midnight. Implement a moving window.

I always change folder name when I download something and I want an option so torrent name automatically will change as well.
