Please incorporate BitLocker compatibility into uT.

For example, the unlock password can be entered (and encrypted) into uTorrent (Options), thus when uTorrent opens and begins to download data, it can unlock the protected drive and lock it again when uTorrent is closed.

Other options available could be alternative download drive/directory while uT is unlocking the drive, so downloads are not delayed and the data can be moved afterwards. Program uTorrent to create the alternative directory with access by "System" only, so that only uT can read/write data to that directory in the meanwhile.

If these features were offered, I'd buy the Plus version immediately. The next step needs to be security above mainstream features.

utorrent can stop a laptop from going to standby mode or from hibernation. If it is running on laptop and battery is less than 10%(this could be user configurable) then it should allow the default action of power plan e.g to shut down laptop, go to hibernation, go to sleep.
This action is necessary to stop battery from complete discharging. Lifetime of old batteries can be increased by not allowing it to discharge completely.
I have the habit of turning my laptop on over the night for downloading. If by mistake power of the laptop is switched off then utorrent don't allow the default action of the power plan. It has increased the wear level of my laptop battery.
Please include this small functionality in utorrent which can prevent damage to laptop battery.

When I delete bad movie files with the NicePlayer SPAM embed I always leave a comment. However it took me forever to figure out where the comment box was. You need to change "Ratings" to "Comment" and when someone deletes a file you need to open up the already existing comment box in order to draw the eye to that location so people know where it is. Why bother with a special second box? That is just confusing. This will generate way more comments. Also, I suggest that you make the comment box the default tab that opens first and place the tab in the first possition. The comment box can be a huge helper with bad files. Perhaps it should also be moderated so that it can flag a warning for bad or spam files. So the user can shut down the torrent before it even gets started. Maybe an auto warning too which the user can override if they chose to....AFTER they read the comments. You need to do this.

There are some stalled torrents which claim to have seeds within the swarm but those seeds are not presently seeding. And file availability is below 1.

If you are in a situation where you are a seed in a swarm which does not have a complete copy between all the members of that swarm, without you. Your torrent status should change colors to cyan or something, to notify you.

Such as, when you have an otherwise completed torrent and still count as a seeder but the torrent is stalled because there's only 96.6% of the torrent in existence elsewhere in the swarm. Where you have downloaded 100% but the torrent availability is below 1 (without you).

This would perhaps allow people to spot situations where their data is critical to the health of a torrent.

It might also be nice to flag these situations even if you are not a seeder. To say that it's doubtful you'll complete this because the torrent is stalled. Status Stalled, colored Orange or something.

Both cases would allow people to know about and stop feeding data starved torrents.

Less importantly, you should also be able to actively scan for such situations and have your client only seed when the torrent availability drops below 1. Effectively setting yourself as a keep alive for older/dying torrents.
